Charitable Giving Statement
Our purpose:
Kingston is dedicated to our core values of honesty, modesty, courtesy, compassion and respect.
Kingston Technology offers various forms of contribution to our community. These contributions are directed at innovative programs to
promote education, technology and support the well being of citizens.
Kingston considers support to a variety of organizations such as the following:
Education:
Educational support for the advancement of knowledge and technological improvement.
Community Services:
Community services for specific programs.
Arts and Culture:
Performing arts and cultural organizations.
Eligibility:
Those requesting support must be:
- An organization that pertains to one of the groups listed above
- Tax-exempt, as designated in Section 501(c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Service Code.
- Services must be available to the community at large and not restricted to members of the organization.
- Able to supply financial statements (income and balance sheet) of the organization
The following are NOT eligible for consideration:
- Individuals
- Veteran, labor, fraternal or social organizations
- Capital and Endowment programs
- Religious or faith-based organizations or programs whose purpose is to proselytize or promote a particular faith or to provide
a service only to a specific faith.
- Organizations that influence legislation, participate, intervene in political campaigns on behalf of or against any
candidate for public office.
- Sponsorship of events, tables, exhibitions
- Golf Tournaments
Application Procedure:
Please submit a written request via postal mail. All applications MUST provide the following for consideration:
- A description of the organization, including its history, mission, goals and objectives
- A specific request for support and a description of how the support will be used.
- A letter from the IRS designating the organization's tax-exempt code
- Listing of organizations budget and list of board of directors and their affiliations
Kingston Technology will respond to organizations that will receive support. Please do not contact Kingston to verify receipt or status.
