Kingston HyperX DDR2 PC6000 Review Kingston KHX6000D2K2/512#

Being the fasted DDR2 modules we have tested up to date, I have to admit that these HyperX DDR2 modules proved that they are the fastest. If you're looking for a fast DDR2 memory for your system, HyperX DDR2 PC6000 has everything to power your need for speed.

Pros:
  • Able to do low latencies (3-3-3)
  • Classic HyperX heatspreaders
  • This thing is faaaaaast!

  • Cons:
  • A different packaging is preferred

Kingston HyperX PC4300 Review Model: Kingston KHX4300K2/512#

Since the Kingston HyperX PC4300 is reasonably priced, it is good for you to get one if you are not chasing for tight timings or running it at extremely high FSB speeds.

    Pros:
  • Lifetime warranty
  • Able to do high FSB with low Vdimm

  • Cons:
  • Timings not tight enough

Kingston HyperX Ultra Low Latency Memory Review Model: Kingston KHX3200ULK2/1G#

Since the price for this 1GB kit is not that expensive yet cheaper than the Kingston HyperX DDR500, I'll certainly recommend it to anyone who needs a pair of high performance memory modules.

    Pro:
  • Able run at 2-2-2 at 2.7Vdimm and stable up to 217MHz
  • Tight timing 2.5-3-3-5 at high FSB 245MHz
  • Acceptable price
  • Lifetime warranty

  • Cons:
  • None

Kingston HyperX Dual Channel DDR500 (PC4000) Review Kingston KHX4000K2/512#

The Kingston HyperX PC4000 certainly left me wanting more (yes, I know I am not easily satisfied), but for the average OCer shooting for a 250MHz FSB (which is a lot already), it should be good enough.

    Pros:
  • Runs at slightly lower timings than specified
  • Cool blue heatspreaders that don't weigh a ton

  • Cons:
  • Requires more than the specified voltage on some boards
  • Does not OC well on certain boards like the AI7? (Board issue?)
