For Graphics Design workstations and servers that run on FB-DIMM memory, temperature control for FB-DIMM has always been a major challenge, not to mention taking a further step to achieve optimized performance by tweaking. However, Kingston is pleased to introduce its HyperX FB-DIMM memory kit, which has successfully incorporated a Dual Phase cooling construction to make low latency timing memory overclocking feasible on such platforms while maintaining system stability.
Dual channel HyperX DDR2 FB-DIMM features:
Designed specifically for high-end workstations and graphics design platforms.
Effectively keeps the temperature of FB-DIMM at 50°.
Featuring a Dual Phase heat sink design.
Offers low latency timing parameters of 4-4-4-12 for DDR2-800 intended for servers.
On multi-processor platforms, files, software and system tools that have been loaded into the memory will be accessed in a shorter time.
Kingston has performed rigorous testing on all HyperX memory kits configured to parameters shown on the product label. However, the product may not operate on some motherboards or systems due to outdated firmware.
Kingston does not recommend that users attempt to run their computers faster than the published frequencies or timings. Inappropriate parameter configurations may result in damage to your hardware.
