Winners of Kingston “My Malaysia, My Memory” Photography Contest

Contest Winnter Beautiful Malaysia in the eyes of her citizens

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – (21 June, 2007) – Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products proudly announced the winners of Kingston “My Malaysia, My Memory” photography contest. The photography contest held from 2nd to 30th April 2007 received overwhelming response from the public. Impressive photos that captured true Malaysian spirits were shared with Kingston via www.kingston.com/asia.

“It had been a very successful photo contest for Kingston.” said Scott Chen, Vice-President, APAC Business Development, Kingston. “Through this contest, we are able to see Malaysia in a different angle; meaningful and treasurable.” added Chen.

Our first prize winner, Hanafi Jamil from Port Dickson woos the panel of judges from Kingston Technology, Click! Magazine and our online voters with a heart-warming photo; showing love and close bond between a grandmother and grandson. Hanafi Jamil happily won a Canon Ixus 900Ti digital camera and Kingston 8GB SDHC card.

2nd Place The second and third winners captured the humble lifestyle of some Malaysian citizens, reminding us about the beauty of a simple life. Yeong Li Wai from Puchong, the second prize winner, won a HP Photosmart C6180 colour printer and Kingston 8GB SDHC card while Hon Wen Huei from Kuala Lumpur is our third prize winner receiving digital printing vouchers and Kingston 8GB SDHC card worth RM500.

Seven consolation prizes of 2GB SD Ultimate card were also given away as an appreciation to other contestants that participated in the contest. Similarly, the 2GB SD Ultimate card were given away to ten lucky online voters for their participation in helping Kingston select the best of the best in this contest.

3rd Place The winners of Kingston “My Malaysia, My Memory” photography contest and 10 lucky participants from the voting session will be announced on July 1st, 2007 at http://www.kingston.com/asia.
