Kingston Technology Launches Local Presence in Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam – 19/February/2009— Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the world's largest independent memory module
manufacturer, today announced it has set up a local Representative Office in HCMC, Vietnam to support sales in both its memory modules and flash products. Also,
get ready for an aggressive roll-out of new products, marketing campaigns, and channel strategies in 2009.
The Kingston Vietnam team will enhance relationships with our strategic partners, and customers throughout the country and complement the authorized distributors of
Kingston products in Vietnam, including CMS Computer Company Limited, FPT Distribution Company Limited, and Ingram Micro Asia.
"The reason for local presence is because Vietnam is one of our highly focused countries and we are here to understand and deliver better products and services
to our customers. A professional local team can help to meet the increasing demand in Vietnam market by providing localized products and services," said Tawny
Phan, Kingston's Country Manager in Vietnam, adding that: "Local team not only can help Kingston to support our customers better in Vietnam, but also enable us
to collaborate effectively with our distribution partners in any country-level challenges and activities."
With a structured distribution channel in place, the office in HCMC plans to launch various marketing campaigns to increase Kingston's brand image, educate customers
to buy "Genuine" Kingston memory products from authorized Kingston Distributors/Resellers in Vietnam.
