Kingston to Hold LoL, Overclocking Competition and Demo Upcoming Products During COMPUTEX TAIPEI

Hsinchu, Taiwan – June 5, 2014 – Kingston, the independent world leader in memory products, today held “HyperX Battleship” launch party to unveils a series of high-performance products. The LoL Season 2 World Champion, AZB TPA, is invited for a friendly match with MACHI e-Sports team; while 10 professional overclockers kick-start the 2014 “HOT” HyperX OC Takeover competition. In addition, Kingston also showcased exciting new products and technologies coming out this year.
The HyperX Battleship sailed off into space, in the milieu of future and technology. It represents Kingston’s continuous commitment in bringing the latest in high-performance storage solutions, as well as it’s enthusiasm into gaming with its HyperX lineup. Kingston showcased a series of exciting new products with a model catwalk to bring out the forthcoming high-performance products.
To fortify the connection between HyperX and professional gaming community, HyperX officially announced the partnership with Machi e-Sports team today. The LoL Season 2 World Champion, AZB TPA is also invited to join for a friendly match with Machi e-Sports.

Other than the press event, overclockers from around the world will compete for $10,000 (USD) in prize money for the top record in Maximum Memory Frequency, SuperPi 32M and XTU with a secret processor to be revealed at the event. Following Taiwan, HyperX will stage four regional online HOT tournaments on hwbot.org to lead up to a $15,000 (USD) World Finals held at 2015 International CES®.
