The required keys for MyDataZone in registry are as follows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\DeviceClasses
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Enum
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\usbccgp
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\UsbFlags
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Services
The user needs full read/write access to the above keys.
If access to HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class cannot be given, make sure at least these subkeys have full read/write access:
HKLM\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{36FC9E60-C465-11CF-8056-444553540000}
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4D36E967-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{71A27CDD-812A-11D0-BEC7-08002BE2092F}
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{745A17A0-74D3-11D0-B6FE-00A0C90F57DA}
Also make sure the user has at least read access to this Registry key:
HKLM\System\MountedDevices
When MyDataZone is executed, it writes a copy of itself to Documents and Settings\[username]\Application Data\MyDataZone\.
This location needs to have read/write/execute access.
The software runs from this location rather than from the drive - this allows for modification of the privacy zone while MyDataZone is running.
MyDataZone version 4.0.9.17 also requires Terminal Services to be enabled.
