Hyper X Fan
Kingston recently introduced the HyperX Fan to compliment their HyperX line of ram, but it can be purchased separately for use with any ram, and they were kind enough to
send one over for review. Normally this kind of thing is not very useful really, in my experience with ram coolers they tend not to work very well, but the HyperX Fan
is truly an exception. The HyperX Fan works, and works very well, it's easy to install and the bright blue LEDs will add a bit of color to your case. So read on to
check it out and learn just how well it performs...

Kingston HyperX Fan
If you love to overclock, hate heat, or just want to add a few more lights to your rig, get this. The Kingston HyperX Fan runs very very well and does exactly what it’s suppose to do very well. Aside from the lack of instructions and having to move my graphics card, the Kingston HyperX Fan is completely worth the $23 and should get you some great overclocks. I give this the TechwareLabs Approved Hardware award because it really is just awesome.

HyperX T1 Series 6GB 2GHz DDR3 Triple Channel Kit (KHX16000D3K3/6GX)
The Kingston T1 HyperX modules sport some gorgeous aesthetics with the new heatspreaders, and would look great in just about any X58 motherboard. But the heatspreaders are very tall, so be aware of the clearances with some aftermarket CPU heatsinks, though they should be fine for most setups. There are also two X.M.P profiles included with these sticks that make setup an absolute breeze.
Kingston has done an great job with these modules, showcasing beautiful aesthetics, quality construction, and excellent performance. The T1 HyperX modules can run above 2100MHz but they do come with a premium price tag and will leave your wallet a fair bit lighter as a result. If you have a healthy budget and are in the market for a set of top-tier performance memory modules, then these deserve a very close look.

HyperX 6GB 2GHz DDR3 Triple Channel Kit
The Kingston HyperX 6GB 2000 MHz Triple Channel Memory Kit literally crushes anything to cross this test bench to date even at stock frequencies. The 6GB does excellent all around under the Vista 64-bit environment for which the kit was intended. There are cheaper kits out there, but they come at the sacrifice of memory timings. When looking for true performance based Triple Channel overclocking memory, the Kingston HyperX 2000 MHz offers the perfect bang for the buck that demanding users need.
Pros:
– 2000 MHz of raw frequency
– 8-8-8-30 memory timings
– Sexy new HyperX heat spreaders
– XMP Profiles work well
– Best bang for buck at $250

In my original review, I was very impressed with the memory, with the Kingston HTX heatspreaders, the overall looks of the memory, and the performance at DDR3-1520 7-7-7-24. The memory's performance at DDR3-2000 gives me no reason to be any less impressed. I was very pleased with the HyperX DDR3-2000's overclocking capability, reaching DDR3-2142.
At the time of my original review, the memory sold for $169.99 at my favorite online retailer. Today, merely a month later, the Kingston HyperX DDR3-2000 now sells for $119.99. Do I have to explain why I consider this a value?
We originally gave this memory a 9 out of 10 score. With the new price, ThinkComputers.org upgrades the Kingston HyperX T1 Series DDR3-2000 3GB Triple Channel Memory Kit to a 10 out of 10 score.
Pros:
– HTX heatspreaders look sharp and are very effective
– Attained timings of 7-7-7-24 at DDR3-1520
– Overclocked to DDR3-2142 10-9-9-30
– Excellent price

Kingston HyperX DDR3 3GB 2GHz Memory Kit (KHX16000D3K3/3GX)
Kingston once again delivers superb performance with their HyperX line of memory. The Kingston KHX16000D3K3/3GX package is one of the fastest DDR3 kits on the market and allows the user to get high end performance from their Core i7 machines. Even neophyte overclockers will get impressive gains using the memory's built in Intel XMP support.
... If you are going to build a Core i7 rig, then you might as well go with the best memory around. With the ability to run at 2000MHz at 1.65V, you will easily get performance increases without running any risk to your CPU.
Pros:
– Stable
– Excellent performance
– One of the first 2000MHz kits
– Lifetime warranty

Kingston HyperX 3GB DDR3 2GHz Triple Channel Kit
I found nothing not to like about the Kingston HyperX DDR3-2000 Triple-channel.
I guess the question is whether the extra cost for DDR3-2000 (or DDR3-1866 for that matter) is worth it if you don't have an i7 Extreme Edition 965, which at this time is the only way you can attain DDR3-2000. That is a question you will have to answer yourself. I consider this a fine memory kit, I really like the HTX heatspreaders, and if the answer to the question is yes, I highly recommend this memory kit. ThinkComputers.org gives the Kingston HyperX T1 Series DDR3-2000 3GB Triple-Channel Memory kit a 9 out of 10 score.

Kingston HyperX 3GB 2GHz T1 Triple Kit (KHX16000D3T1K3/3GX)
Kingston is probably most well known for their reliability and stability over the years in both the public and private sector. Their ECC, Fully Buffered memory, is used by countless IT services around the world. When you expect this kind of error free performance, it only makes sense to see it continually carry over to the desktop market. Just because we're regular consumers, why should we expect anything else?
The new HyperX 2000 MHz Triple Channel 3GB Kit is perfect for extreme gamers that play titles like Command & Conquer, Supreme Commander, or even Farcry 2. It's also the right amount of memory for XP Pro and Vista 32-bit users who realistically don't need more than that. 64-bit users will want something a little larger which we hear is already well under way and should arrive very soon. In the meantime, if your I7 is going to be your new extreme gaming system and need the fastest memory available, this is the current memory of choice. This is HyperX at its best!

Legit Bottom Line: The Kingston HyperX T1 memory kits at 2000MHz are the fastest available on the market today. Kingston HyperX 2GHz DDR3 Triple Channel kit (KHX16000D3K3/3GX)
These Kingston HyperX modules offer excellent performance and still have a bit of headroom left over when beyond their 2000MHz rated speeds. The tolerances and returns are smaller the higher you go in the speed department, but these modules have sufficient gas left in the tank to reach some blistering numbers on your system. Running 2000MHz at CL8 timings is nothing to scoff and, and there are precious few products that can achieve that upper echelon of performance.

Kingston HyperX 2GHz DDR3 3GB kit (KHX16000D3K3/3GX)
An extra edge in performance is what every diehard PC Enthusiast wants, and these modules unquestionably deliver. These Kingston memory modules are the fastest speed currently available on the market, and 2GHz is likely to be the limit for a while because it is really pushing the Core i7's on-die memory controller hard.
