FAQ-6
When reviewing the various HyperX parts shown on your website, I found that some part numbers end with an "N", and one of the DDR3 part numbers ends with an "X". What do these letter designations mean, and how do these modules differ in comparison to other, general part numbers?

Resolution: Module part numbers ending with an "N" are designed for NVIDIA SLI-Ready based motherboards, which may increase overall performance with one step set up. Modules with the "N" designation may also be used on non-NVIDIA SLI-Ready motherboards and perform at published timing and speed.

If the DDR3 part number ends with "X", the module has been "XMP Certified". XMP Certification allows memory manufacturers to offer DIMMs with more aggressive frequencies and latencies already programmed in SPD. Kingston's XMP memory modules will help novice and experienced overclockers to get their memory modules up to peak speed faster than ever before.
