Featuring “World Traveler” Theme, Kingston Technology Reveals New Products at Computex Taipei 2007

Memory Advances, DataTraveler Style Intro, and USB Capacity Upgrades Among Highlights on Display in Taipei

Hsinchu, Taiwan – (May 17, 2007) – Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, will be announcing important news concerning its HyperX high performance memory division as well as several exciting additions to its Flash memory family during Computex Taipei 2007 in Taiwan, June 5-9, 2007. The show will run 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., June 5-8; and from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., June 9. To celebrate the international scope of the world’s second-largest trade show, the Kingston® booth, Hall 1, Booth B501, will be decorated in a ‘World Traveler’ theme.

Global travelers who visit the Kingston booth can witness live demonstrations of new DDR3 1500MHz HyperX and DDR2 800MHz ultra low latency HyperX memory modules. Kingston 512MB and 1GB DDR3 1066MHz HyperX memory modules recently passed Intel Platform (PMO) Validation, paving the way for the next generation of high-performance computing. DDR3 technology offers significant memory performance gains, at lower voltage and less power consumption.

Kingston will also debut its DataTraveler Style, a sleek USB Flash drive that allows users to carry their digital data with expression and personality. Consumers can customize the look of their DT Style with one of the six included ‘skins’ – redhead mosaic, leopard, sunflower, lace, retro or laser storm – or use Kingston’s Web site to design, upload and print their own. Available in capacities from 1GB to 4GB, the DT Style also sports a unique capless design, in which the USB port is extended via a thumb-action slider.

  • microSD Reader Bundle: simplifying data transfer between card and host computer, the black reader comes with a 1GB microSD card while the red reader is bundled with a 2GB microSD card.
