Kingston to Support Next-Generation AMD Opteron® Processors in New Line of Memory Modules
ValueRAM™ Memory Technology Combines High Performance With Low Power Consumption

Fountain Valley, CA – August 15, 2006 –Kingston Technology Company, Inc., an independent world leader in memory products, today announced the ValueRAM® DDR2 Registered ECC memory module, Kingston’s new memory technology supporting Next-Generation AMD Opteron™ processors. The new memory modules leverage proven AMD64 technology with energy-efficient DDR2 memory and AMD PowerNow!™ technology capabilities to deliver stability, reliability and high performance. Kingston’s ValueRAM DDR2 EEC and Registered ECC memory features speeds of up to 667 MHz, higher data bandwidths, lower power consumption and enhanced thermal performance.
