Kingston Technology Appoints New Business Development Representatives for UAE and Saudi Arabia
The Representatives aim to refine business development strategies to drive growth in the Middle East
April 16, 2009- Dubai -- Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the independent world leader in memory products, today announced the
appointment of Mounir Sarkis as the Business Development Representative in the UAE and Hani Suwwan as the Business Development Representative in Saudi
Arabia. Sarkis will be responsible for developing relations with existing and potential channel partners, ultimately driving the growth of sales in
the UAE. Suwwan will be responsible for developing Kingston Technology’s business in Saudi Arabia.
Sarkis, the new representative for the UAE, brings with him a wealth of experience in business development. Part of his channel strategy in his new role
includes optimizing relationships with existing channels and identifying new business opportunities. With the economic downturn weeding out the
competition, Sarkis plans on refining Kingston Technology’s channel strategies in order for partners to better cater to businesses, identify new channels
and processes that will yield the highest return.
As the new business development representative for Saudi Arabia, Suwwan brings to his new role with Kingston Technology an extensive knowledge of local and
international markets. He has experience in channel distribution and system integration. One of Suwwan’s key roles is to increase market share for system
and flash memory.
“Channel partners are the key to maintaining and extending the company’s position in the market. We currently have outstanding channel partners and our
development process will be more aggressive this year. We will focus on investing in and cultivating our existing channel strengths in order to drive market
share growth,” said Sarkis. “Our products for IT security and memory performance are in high demand in the Middle East market, and we are obliged to assist
our channels in delivering the best solutions to our customers in every way possible, added Suwwan.”
“I am confident that Mounir and Hani have the necessary skill set, experience and attitude to encourage further development and success of Kingston
Technology,” said Antoine Harb, Business Development Manager for Kingston Technology Middle East and Africa. Our success in the Middle East is due to
Kingston’s strong relationship with our regional channel partners and we are confident that Mounir’s and Hani’s social networking skills will enable them
to play an instrumental role in driving sales growth in the coming years.”
