World-Class Manufacturing Facilities

Kingston has established five manufacturing facilities around the world to meet the needs of the memory market on a global scale. These manufacturing facilities are strategically located in the U.S., Taiwan, Malaysia and in China. Each facility serves the memory needs for Kingston and the top tier system manufacturers that employ Kingston to make their system memory.

Kingston has more than 50 state-of-the-art Surface Mount Technology (SMT) lines that build more than eighteen million customized modules each month for servers, desktops, notebooks, workstations, printers, personal digital assistants (PDAs), hand-held PCs, graphic cards, digital cameras and cell phones.

To ensure reliability during every phase of production, Kingston uses the latest test equipment and software. Kingston uses Agilent® (formerly HP) 83000 High-Speed Testers, Advantest T5581H Testing Units and proprietary software to test and produce the highest quality memory.

Business Operations Throughout the World

Founded in 1987, Kingston Technology Company has grown to be the world's largest independent manufacturer of memory products.

Kingston is headquartered in Fountain Valley, California in the United States with key operation centers in Europe and Asia. To meet the growing needs of customers in Europe and the Middle East, Kingston established its European headquarters in London, England in 1996. In 1997, Kingston established a strategic Turnkey Logistics Hub in Dublin, Ireland to support Kingston’s OEM customers in Europe. Also in 1997, Kingston turned its attention to Asia and established its Far East facility in Hsin-Chu, Taiwan.

In addition to these key facilities, Kingston has established additional offices in Melbourne-Australia, Paris-France, Munich-Germany and Beijing-China to provide localized sales support and service to enhance customer satisfaction.
