Kingston Introduces 128MB and 256MB Hi-Speed Elite Pro line of Secure Digital Cards
Hi-Speed Secure Digital Cards (SD) the Size of a Postage Stamp Complete with Cryptographic Security Protection
Fountain Valley, CA (January 08, 2004) - Kingston® Technology Company, Inc. today announced the release of 128MB
and 256MB Elite Pro Hi-Speed Secure Digital Cards (SD), the latest generation of high-capacity, small form factor digital storage devices on the
market today.
SD is the latest addition to Kingston's continuously expanding line of digital storage
devices. The size of a postage stamp, the SD card weighs less than two grams and provides
up to 10Mbps transfer speed. The SD card provides enhanced cryptographic security protection
for copyrighted data and can be used in the latest SD compatible digital devices such as PDAs,
digital cameras, digital camcorders and MP3 players.
The Kingston® Elite Pro line of Hi-Speed SD cards support 4 bit data transfer at up to
10Mbps -5 times faster than standard SD cards (standard SD cards support 1 bit data transfer).

Available immediately, Kingston's Elite Pro Hi-Speed SD cards have a Manufacturer's Suggested
Retail Price (MSRP) of $69.00 for the 128MB (SD/128-S) and a MSRP of $109.00 for the 256MB
(SD/256-S) card. Kingston's Secure Digital Cards are individually tested, backed by a five-year
warranty and free technical support. All of Kingston's flash memory products are offered through
Kingston's traditional channel of distributors, resellers, and e-tailers. Kingston's website at
