Kingston Enhances DataTraveler 2.0 Hi-Speed USB Line
Performance Boost, New Color-Coded Cases Refresh Popular USB Flash Memory

Fountain Valley, CA (August 15, 2005) - Kingston® Technology Company, Inc. today announced the enhancement of its popular DataTraveler® Hi-Speed USB flash memory product line with increased speeds and newly designed cases—color-coded by capacity.

"The DataTraveler line has been an immensely popular USB storage solution and this new edition adds more speed and fun colors," said Mike Kuppinger, flash memory manager, Kingston. The latest DataTraveler 2.0 Hi-Speed USB storage solution enjoys a 3Mbps speed increase and a sleek-yet-practical exterior case redesign. Available now, DataTraveler 2.0 units have color-coded cases with 128-MB in red; 256-MB in green; 512-MB in blue and 1-GB capacities traveling in grey. For quick and easy storage, the DataTraveler 2.0 end cap now fits neatly on its base.

The DataTraveler 2.0's small form factor (66.9 mm x 20.4 mm x 9.0 mm) and Plug and Play technology make it an ideal solution combining storage capacity with portability and fast data transfer rates. Data is password protected with Kingston's custom software, TravelerSafe.
