Inside Sales Account Manager — MEA

Kingston Technology, a leading manufacturer of computer hardware products with its European headquarters in Sunbury-on-Thames, UK, is now recruiting for an Inside Sales Account Manager – MEA.

POSITION SUMMARY:
To provide sales support to, and to manage relationships and maintain customer satisfaction at all times with, distribution and assembler customers in specified territories. Also to develop relationship with retailers/indirect customers where appropriate. Also to develop business with existing customers, support Field Sales efforts, conduct customer business reviews, make recommendations to management for business, process and procedure development, and to ensure Branded is providing both correct and competitive pricing, while maintaining customer satisfaction at all times.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  1. To pro-actively manage and develop Branded business in specified territories, and backup for other countries may be required, through account management from the office in Sunbury.
  2. To manage customer accounts by quoting and negotiating prices, processing orders, and estimating and managing deliveries based on knowledge of stock, production and delivery schedules.
  3. To coordinate where necessary with other KTEL departments such as Logistics, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Warehouse, and Marketing.
  4. To communicate with customers on a frequent and professional basis to secure orders and to provide product information and general customer service.
  5. To anticipate and develop plans, which reflect the future needs of the customer.
  6. To support the relevant Field Sales at all times.
  7. To manage inventory levels based on customer and Branded forecasts and ROPs.
  8. To work with the RMA department to resolve returns issues.
OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. To occasionally travel to customer sites and trade shows.
  2. To perform other duties as assigned.
GUIDELINES (Knowledge , Skills, Abilities):

Knowledge: Fluent English is essential, written and spoken. Additional European languages are also an advantage, but not essential. Strong experience in sales / account management (minimum 1 year). Previous IT product-related knowledge is desirable.

Skills: Excellent communication, organisational, time management, pro-active, negotiation and numerical skills are essential.

Abilities: Ability to meet tight deadlines, use independent judgment, learn memory and the industry quickly, and gain a sound understanding of the key factors that affect the industry.
