Kingston Technology is Proud Sponsor of ACON4: Worldwide Gaming Evenet
Global Gaming Challenge to Take Place in 19 Countries, 50 Cities with Finals in Shanghai, China.
[10 March 2004] - Kingston Technology, the independent world leader in memory products, today
announced its participation in the ACON4 Worldwide Gaming Event hosted by ABIT Computer Corporation,
along with Intel Corporation, Dong Feng Yueda Kia Motors, Western Digital, and Viewsonic.
Promising to be one of the most exciting gaming events of 2004, ACON4 will begin on March 12, 2004
with qualifying competition rounds spread across 19 countries and territories in a total of 50 cities.
The top gamer from each region will be invited to the final competition on June 6, 2004 in Shanghai,
China where they will then compete head-to-head in a Warcraft III: The Frozen Throne tournament to
determine the ACON4 World Champion.
"We're very excited to be a part of ACON4," said Vincent Hunter, European Director of the ValueRAM
productline at Kingston Technology. "The event is a great opportunity to showcase our Kingston
Technology HyperX line of high-performance memory and demonstrate its performance on ABIT's superior
gaming motherboards." Kingston Technology representatives will be present at most of the qualifying
rounds to demonstrate the company's HyperX memory performance. The winning gamers will receive HyperX
modules as part of the prize packages.
The UK qualifying round takes place between the 12th and 15th March at Newbury Racecourse with around
1,100 players expected to take part. To book your place at the event simply log onto

The stakes are high at ACON4: winning representatives from each region will receive an all-expenses paid
trip to Shanghai, China and also have a chance to win some of the most exciting prizes ever offered at a
gaming event, including a car from Dong Feng Yueda Kia Motors. The complete ACON4 prize list will be
announced in the next two weeks.
