Kingston Technology number 1 in iSuppli Independent Memory Manufacturer Market Share Ranking
Boost to 27 Percent Market Share Keeps Kingston in Top Spot
Sunbury-on-Thames, 25th May, 2005. Kingston Technology Company, Inc., the world's largest independent
memory module manufacturer, has been ranked by iSuppli Corporation as the world’s number-one memory module
manufacturer for the third-party memory market.* This announcement marks the second consecutive year that
Kingstonâ holds the top spot with a market share of more than 27 percent — an increase of seven percent
from 2004.
Sales forecasts for 2004 exceeded Kingston’s original projections and several factors contributed to the
company’s growth: placing greater emphasis on its ValueRAMâ, Digital Media, and OEM divisions; as well as
increasing global production by significantly expanding production facilities in Shanghai, China.

introduced new levels of service and product quality to the memory market,” said John Tu, president, Kingston.
