Kingston Technology Announces NVIDIA SLI-Ready HyperX DDR2 Low-Latency 800 MHz Modules
[5 July 2006], Kingston Technology, the world’s leading independent memory manufacturer, today
announced the release of its NVIDIA SLI-Ready 800MHz low-latency modules. With a simple one step process the
HyperX DDR2 PC2-6400 modules increase overall system performance when paired with select NVIDIA nForce 500 series-based
motherboards. Kingston Technology’s NVIDIA SLI-Ready modules are designated with an "N" in the part number and are
available in 1-GB and 2-GB kits.
Kingston Technology and NVIDIA have specifically designed and engineered the HyperX module to give users the ability to
boost system performance by simply installing NVIDIA SLI-Ready components. Without needing to tune the BIOS, users can
simply select their performance option during the system configuration.
Thomas Marschner, Vice President, Sales and Marketing Europe at Kingston Technology comments, “Kingston is extremely
excited to be bringing this cutting-edge memory technology to the PC enthusiast market.” Marschner continues, “This new
range of HyperX products is ideal for gamers and PC enthusiasts who want to achieve increased performance without having
to alter their BIOS settings.”
NVIDIA SLI technology is a revolutionary platform innovation that allows users to intelligently scale performance by
combining multiple NVIDIA graphics solutions in a single system using an NVIDIA nForce SLI media and communications
processor (MCP).
Using proprietary software algorithms and dedicated scalability logic in each NVIDIA graphics processing unit (GPU) and
MCP, Kingston Technology’s NVIDIA SLI technology delivers the highest performance computing solution.
Drew Henry, General Manager of MCP Products at NVIDIA comments, "Kingston Technology and NVIDIA are dedicated to engineering
the latest in ground-breaking technology. We are pleased to give certification to Kingston Technology’s NVIDIA SLI-Ready
PC2-6400 low latency 800MHz DDR2 modules." Henry continues, "Kingston Technology has brought the might of its industry
expertise to the development of the NVIDIA SLI-Ready HyperX modules and we are fortunate to be working with one of the world’s
leading memory manufacturer’s. All NVIDIA SLI-Ready components are backed by a rigorous testing and certification process in
order to deliver a highly dependable platform solution, ensuring unmatched system stability and platform compatibility.
