Kingston Technology Europe Hits $1 Billion in Sales
22 November 2007: Kingston Technology Europe, the independent world leader in memory products, today announced it has reached
a record-breaking $1 billion in sales for 2007, year to date. This represents a significant increase in revenue of 22% compared to 2006, year to
date, and comes just one year after Kingston Technology Europe celebrated a decade of trading across EMEA.
Initially starting with a team of 49 people and a revenue of US$2.2 million in 1996, Kingston Technology Europe transformed into a distribution
centre servicing over 40 countries across EMEA with annual sales to date for 2007 of US$1 Billion, (as of November 22, 2007).
Kingston Technology Europe now employs 253 people and has shipped over 39 million units in 2007, year to date. Since 1996, unit shipments have
multiplied 55 times.
