Kingston Technology to Carry Intel Solid-State Drives
SSD Technology Leader and Memory Manufacturer to Deliver High-Performance SATA SSDs to Fortune 1000 and Vertical Markets
London, UK -- January 8, 2009 -- Kingston Technology Europe Ltd, a subsidiary of Kingston Technology Company, Inc., announced today it will carry a line of Intel’s high-performance SATA II solid-state drives (SSD). Kingston, the independent world leader in memory products, has a broad base of business channels and offers a high level of service and expertise to its memory customers. The agreement allows Kingston’s customers access to the many benefits of this new class and quality of solid-state drives from Intel, along with Kingston’s superior customer care.
The Intel SSDs are available now through Kingston’s distribution channels. Kingston will leverage its knowledge of the various market segments, such as IT channel and enterprise segments for Flash memory, to deliver Intel’s SSD solutions to Fortune 1000 companies and vertical markets such as financial services, telecommunications, government, webhosting and others.
