Kingston Technology signs retail deal with Staples
Staples to stock Kingston Technology memory products

London, UK – 11 March, 2009– Kingston Technology Europe Ltd, a subsidiary of Kingston Technology Company, Inc. the independent world leader in memory products, today announced that it has signed a retail deal with Staples. Under the agreement Kingston Technology’s DataTraveler Locker and DRAM products will be available in Staples stores in selected countries across Europe.

Selected Staples stores across UK, Portugal, The Netherlands and Germany will also stock Kingston Technology DRAM products (RRP from £24.46). Kingston’s Retail Memory is an easy to purchase high-end generic memory product family that complies with JEDEC Solid State Technology Association memory specifications. The company’s DRAM retail modules are built with the same quality and reliability as those made for enterprises and system integrators, enabling customers to get the best performance out of their systems. This comes at a time when consumers are tightening their belts and looking at ways to prolong the life of their existing computers/laptops, the availability of Kingston’s DRAM modules in Staples will enable them to do so in a cost effective way. The Retail Memory family packaging is deliberately simplified to ensure that customers are able to select the right memory module first time, therefore reducing the amount of errors and returns often associated with this type of retail based memory product.

Selected stores will also be selling the Kingston Technology DataTraveler Locker (RRP from £20.00). With 256bit AES encryption, it ensures that consumers’ most confidential data is kept safe from prying eyes.
