Job Details - Accounting Specialist - Fountain Valley, CA
Department: Accounting

Major responsibilities:

  • Daily reconciliation of payments and apply cash receipts.
  • Examine past due balances, take appropriate collection actions.
  • Hold and release orders based on credit line exposures and risk determination.
  • Timely process chargebacks associated with pricing, rebates and various deductions.
  • Research and resolution of customer payment discrepancies.
  • Monthly reconciliation of consigned inventory.
  • Communicate and collaborate with Sales and customers to resolve issues.
  • Correspond with customers and respond timely to customer inquiries.
  • Assist with month-end close.
  • Handle other duties, meetings and projects as assigned by management

Requiremets:

  • 2+ years of experience in accounts receivable
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to follow up on tasks
  • Strong customer relations experience
  • Able to multitask, prioritize workload and to work in a fast pace environment
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • EDI, ASN knowledge is a plus

Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or business administration
