Position: Intern - Software Development
Department: MIS
Job Summary:
The intern will work with our computer engineering team to develop customized applications for internal and external clients. Primary responsibilities for the internship will involve developing, testing, debugging web and windows applications using Microsoft, ASP.NET technologies.
Essential Functions:
- Development of user interfaces, WCF services using ASP/C#.Net.
- Writing SQL stored procedures
- Unit Testing
- May be expected to write documentation to describe program development, logic, coding and corrections.
- Participate in the Scrum process.
Required Qualifications:
Pursuing BS degree (Junior or Senior), or currently pursuing MS degree, in Computer Science or related technical field.
Excellent skills utilizing Microsoft Office programs, including Visio.
Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Desired Qualifications:
ASP.NET, C#, SQL experience
Familiar with Scrum Software Development process.
Mandarin Chinese Language proficiency helpful.
Special Requirements:
Must be willing to work in an internship capacity at least 3 months, 20 hours per week.
