Job Details - Marketing Assistant (MX) - Mexico

Department: Marketing

The Marketing Assistant is responsible for providing support to senior marketing staff. The duties include handling customer communications, preparing data reports in a clear format and other tools to measure marketing impact as well as helping with the organization of events, and providing project-specific administrative support. This role is in Mexico.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Provides support to Marketing Manager in the areas of channel marketing and event/tradeshow coordination.
  • Assists in the coordination of marketing events (certifications, trainings, webinars, channel & consumer events); attends events where needed.
  • Supports Marketing Manager with the planning & coordination of channel marketing activities (incentives, campaigns, promotions, channel programs, etc.).
  • Manages productions, distribution and inventory of company literature, point of sale, and promotional items.
  • Negotiates pricing for production of literature, promo items.
  • Provides administrative support for a variety of projects.
  • Responsible for the shipping of Marketing Materials to distributors across the country

GUIDELINES
ABILITIES, KNOWLEDGE, AND SKILLS
  • Must be proficient in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint
  • Must have excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability and willingness to handle multiple projects at one time, great attention to detail
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Provide excellent follow-up and follow-through skills
  • Bilingual- Must be fluent in English/Spanish- speak, read, and write
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
  • College degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications is preferred
  • 2 years’ experience or recent graduate in Marketing
  • Experience in tradeshow/event coordination, communication/working with customers and vendors (proveedores), digital marketing, involved in the creative process of marketing materials preferred but not required.
