Important Configuration Notes

  • Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed depending on processor model installed. An Intel 7th Gen processor is required to support DDR4-2400 memory. 6th Gen processors will automatically down-clock DDR4-2400 to DDR4-2133.
  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS for Dual Channel mode. Kingston offers "K2" kit part numbers for Dual Channel mode.
  • If 4GB is installed, the recognized memory may be reduced to 3.5GB or less (depending on system configuration and memory allocation). A 64-bit Operating System is required to utilize more than 4GB of memory.

Kingston FURY Renegade with Heatsink (SFYRSK/xxxG, SFYRDK/xxxG) will fit in most systems that can accommodate its size (~80mm x 23.67mm x 10.5mm). This includes a variety of motherboards, desktops, gaming PCs and the PlayStation 5. If you are uncertain whether it will fit, please review your system manufacturer’s support manual, or contact Kingston Technical Support.
Note: Some small-form-factor systems like Intel® NUC cannot physically accommodate the height of the heatsink. In these circumstances, we suggest FURY Renegade without heatsink (SFYRS/xxxG, SFYRD/xxxG).
