The Operations Program Specialist will manage Kingston’s strategic accounts and programs in planning and scheduling materials to meet OEM or Data Center customer orders and maintain ongoing business activities. Act as liaison between customers and internal departments (Sales, Engineering, Procurement, and Finance) in planning, coordinating, and managing customer orders and requests.

Responsibilities include processing transactions between company, customers, and suppliers. The role requires the ability to efficiently troubleshoot technical issues by applying analytical thinking and knowledge.

  • Manages Sales order processing
    • Reviews customer’s purchase order request and check if all relevant information is as expected (part number, unit price, quantity, delivery date, terms, etc)
    • Requests for internal order creation through the Order Processing Department
    • Follow-ups on order till shipment is complete and invoiced
    • Resolves order and billing related issues and discrepancies
    • Updates order status in excel log files throughout the ordering process
  • Executes and manages accuracy of transactions on Customer’s system, Vendor’s system, and Kingston’s system.
  • Manages third party warehouse related transactions, inventory, and issues (ASN, inventory receipt, bill customer, inventory discrepancies, etc).
  • Generates and maintains customer reports.
  • Alerts Customer of aging inventory and follow up on their use-up plan.
  • Maintains inventory accuracy in all warehouses, systems, and reports.
  • Processes Supplier and Customer RMA’s.
  • Handles customer inquiries and attend to their specific needs.
  • Places PO to suppliers and follow up on delivery.
  • Coordinates new part number creation.
  • Setups new vendor and customer accounts.

  • Proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Power BI; JD Edwards experience is helpful
  • Expert in Microsoft Excel
  • Comfortable with working with data (numbers and computations) and possesses strong attention to detail in order to problem solve
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to successfully manage and prioritize multiple responsibilities and deadlines.

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player who is self-motivated and a self-starter with the ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced working environment

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in business, sales or related field preferred
  • Five years of experience in Inside Sales or similar role (experience processing orders, order fulfillment, expediting orders, tracking deliveries, delivery scheduling and working with third party warehouses)
  • Experience in an electronics distribution company with a global operations is a plus
