  • Low Voltage 1.35V PC3L DIMMs are only supported with Xeon E7 series processors and E7 Memory Cartridge, HP p/n 644172-B21. 32GB DIMMs require Xeon E7 series processors.
  • Xeon E7 series processors and E7 Memory Cartridge support high density quad-rank 32GB, dual-rank 16GB and low density quad-rank 16GB RDIMMs. Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed and voltage depending on processor model and number of modules installed.
  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS in each Memory Cartridge.
  • DIMM pairs MUST be populated in sequence by letter designation. Install DIMM pair in 1A & 8A first, followed by DIMM pair 3B & 6B, then DIMM pair 2C & 7C and DIMM pair 4D & 5D last.
  • Maximum performance is achieved by balancing DIMM pairs by letter groupings across all Memory Cartridges. Such that the 1A, 8A pair is installed in all Memory Cartridges first, followed by the B pair, C pair and D pair.
