Important Configuration Notes

  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN GROUPS OF EIGHT FOR MAXIMUM MEMORY PERFORMANCE.
  • AMD EPYC 7000 processor models featuring 180W and 170W TDP are required to support DDR4-2666. Mid (155W) and low end (120W) model EPYC processors only support up to DDR4-2400.
  • Kingston memory will clock down to run at optimal speed depending on processor model and number/type of modules installed.
  • Per AMD the following speeds are supported per DIMM type and configuration:
  • 1R (Single Rank) DIMMs at 2666 in 1DPC (1 DIMM per Channel)
  • 2R (Dual Rank) DIMMs at 2400 in 1DPC (1 DIMM per Channel)
  • 4R (Quad Rank) LRDIMMs at 2666 in 1DPC (1 DIMM per Channel)
  • Please refer to the manual for additional configuration information.
  • Please note specific board revision and/or BIOS/firmware upgrade maybe required to utilize the following parts that use 16Gbit technology:

Compatible Upgrades For Your System

Kingston FURY Renegade with Heatsink (SFYRSK/xxxG, SFYRDK/xxxG) will fit in most systems that can accommodate its size (~80mm x 23.67mm x 10.5mm). This includes a variety of motherboards, desktops, gaming PCs and the PlayStation 5. If you are uncertain whether it will fit, please review your system manufacturer’s support manual, or contact Kingston Technical Support.
Note: Some small-form-factor systems like Intel® NUC cannot physically accommodate the height of the heatsink. In these circumstances, we suggest FURY Renegade without heatsink (SFYRS/xxxG, SFYRD/xxxG).
