  • Up to 256GB DDR3-1333 Registered memory operating at 1333MHz when fully populated at 2 DIMMs per channel in 16 slots.
  • Up to 256GB DDR3-1600 Registered memory operating at 1600MHz when fully populated at 2 DIMMs per channel in 16 slots.
  • Up to 64GB DDR3-1333 ECC Unbuffered memory operating at 1333MHz when fully populated at 2 DIMMs per channel in 16 slots.
  • Each processor memory bus operates at up to 1600MHz with two single-rank or dual-rank (SR/DR) DIMMs per processor, up to 1333MHz with either one quad-rank (QR) or two single-rank/dual-rank DIMMs per processor, and 1066MHz with up to two quad-rank or one quad-rank and one single-rank/dual-rank DIMMs per processor with standard voltage (1.5V) DIMMs. Memory bus will operate one speed slower when low voltage (1.35V) memory is installed.
  • If only one (1) processor is installed in a two-CPU system, only half of the DIMM sockets are available. Do not install DIMMs if the corresponding processor is not installed.
  • If mixing DIMM voltage is a requirement, please note that DIMMs will run at 1.5V since all 1.35V are capable of supporting 1.5V operations.
  • This system supports either Registered ECC or Unbuffered ECC memory. Mixing Registered ECC and Unbuffered ECC modules is not supported within this system. Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed and voltage depending on processor model and number of modules installed.
