AMD EPYC 7000 processor models featuring 180W and 170W TDP are required to support DDR4-2666. Mid (155W) and low end (120W) model EPYC processors only support up to DDR4-2400.
Kingston memory will clock down to run at optimal speed depending on processor model and number/type of modules installed.
Per AMD the following speeds are supported per DIMM type and configuration:
1R (Single Rank) DIMMs at 2666 in 1DPC (1 DIMM per Channel)
2R (Dual Rank) DIMMs at 2400 in 1DPC (1 DIMM per Channel)
