Per HP, all modules installed must be of the same speed. Do not mix DDR400 kits with DDR333 kits. Processor 1 memory bank 1 must always be populated. If mixing single and dual rank kits, the dual rank kit must be installed in bank 1.
* HP documentation states a maximum 16GB DDR400 system memory. Due to Opteron processor's six DDR400 memory ranks limitation, Kingston recommends a maximum 12GB using two DDR400 4GB + two DDR4 2GB kits.
