SMT Maintenance Technician

Department: SMT Engineering

The SMT Maintenance Technician will maintain, troubleshoot and repair SMT production and peripheral equipment to maintain productivity.

In addition to the following Essential Functions, other related tasks may be assigned.

Essential Functions:

Monitor SMT production and mechanical equipment daily performance to ensure productivity.
Set up, maintain and troubleshoot SMT production equipment per drawings, schematics and operation manuals.
Perform routine maintenance tasks.

Requirements:

Three years of SMT equipment maintenance experience.
Basic electronic, electrical, pneumatic and mechanical skills.
Understand the principles of electronic, electric, pneumatic and mechanic manipulation.
Hands-on experience of Fuji NXT, SPI and AOI is preferred.
Knowledge of requirements for a safe working environment.
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Familiar with IPC-A-610 is a plus.
Ability to utilize standard hand and power tools.
Understand diagrams, schematics, operation manuals.
Skilled in performing routine maintenance tasks.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.

Special Requirements:

Must be available to work various shift schedules as assigned.
