Job Details - HyperX Senior Graphic Designer - Fountain Valley, CA

Department: HyperX Creative

Under general supervision, supports HyperX Creative requests from internal customers; updates, reformats, customizes, designs, and creates marketing pieces utilizing a variety of mediums; and performs other related work as required.

Essential Functions

  • Develops marketing materials for HyperX internal customers both domestically and internationally, including web graphics, advertising, datasheets, product launch assets, messaging pieces, packaging, tradeshow graphics, flyers, brochures, style guide, technical drawings, point of purchase (POP), and other printed or PDF projects; ensures all materials designed follow the “HyperX Corporate Style Guide.”
  • Design and production for creating corporate marketing and promotional materials, multimedia web graphics, web banners, landing pages, email blasts, and special web projects following approved corporate style.
  • Attends meetings with internal customers to discuss the project as needed; may make recommendations based on customer needs.
  • Research photos and produces artwork, illustrations, or re-touch photography.
  • Manages and follows up on assigned projects to ensure successful and timely completion.
  • Keeps up with the latest graphic software
  • Updates project manager and supervisor with project status and vendor needs.


  • Equivalent to a four-year bachelor’s degree in graphic design, communications, or related field.
  • 5+ years of graphic design and production experience required
  • Knowledge of graphic design principles and practices; press checking and print production practices; marketing and advertising practices; graphics/design software; customer service principle and techniques; department procedures and standards; ISO procedures
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator) and knowledge of Sketch
  • Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and meet tight deadlines
  • Understand and follow art direction, specifications, and instructions
  • Communicate effectively with manager and co-workers
