Job Details - Project Manager - Fountain Valley, CA

Under general supervision the Project Manager supports the Marketing Operations team managing numerous initiatives and projects, working closely with Creative/Marketing leadership. Will manage primarily web and video projects and work with Creative (AD, Designers, Photographer), UX & Video (Producer, Videographers) teams. This is a key marketing operations position with a chance to learn and grow within the corporate marketing department. Other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Acts as a liaison between internal requesters and Creative/Video teams to deliver relevant information and client needs/requests.
  • Works with Marketing Operations Supervisor and Creative/Video teams to plan, manage and follow through multiple projects from start to completion using the online project management systems.
  • Leads internal client meetings to discuss assignment parameters. Sets priorities and schedules to meet demanding timelines.
  • Reviews, approves and provides input regarding layout and proofs prior to delivering to requester.
  • Develops and maintains cooperative working relationships with various internal clients to gather and exchange information; develops and implements solutions to problems.

Requirements:

  • BA degree in Marketing or Communications.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in creative project management in an in-house or agency capacity.
  • Knowledge of creative workflow tools such as Workfront and/or Asana is a plus.
  • Strong communication (verbal and written), interpersonal and negotiation skills.
  • Solutions-oriented, with a strong desire to always improve relationships and processes.
  • Show a clear ability to work autonomously, with solid decision-making skills.
  • Hold Creative team members and stakeholders accountable for due dates and agreed upon strategy and deliverables.
  • Highly motivated, organized, detail oriented; able to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.
  • Able to handle multiple clients, projects and multiple regions.
  • High attention to detail, organized and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
  • Must be adaptable and accountable.
  • Familiar with technology and/or the consumer electronics industry.
  • Must be able to enjoy their work and their contributions; and strives to grow and succeed.
