Job Details - Project Manager – Supply Chain - Fountain Valley, CA

Department: Supply Chain and Logistics department

As a Project Manager you will manage internal projects and programs within our Supply Chain and Logistics department. Projects will include assessing and onboarding of new supply chain initiatives and inter-department collaborations to improve ongoing processes and effectiveness. Must have a strong understanding of Supply Chain and how other involved departments function to provide efficient ongoing assessments and input during the project life cycle. Frequently work in conjunction with internal Operations, IT, and Warehouse teams to define, development, and implement process and business needs. Prepare reports for ongoing project statuses and post deployment analysis.

Essential Functions:

  • Collaborate to execute projects in a timely manner that represents and delivers for multiple teams. Build trust and maintain relationships throughout the organization.
  • Work closely with departments, cross-functional teams, external vendors to provide input to scope, milestones, deliverables, required resources, execution plan, and timeline. Identify interdependencies, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Influence and drive change to support process implementation within the organization
  • Proactively identify and manage project risks and issues and escalate in a clear and timely manner when appropriate.
  • Develops and delivers project plans, documentation, training, presentations, and budget
  • Actively seek new supply chain project opportunities through collaboration with other departments and suppliers.
  • Drive the End to End Project Management process across key supply chain initiatives
  • Develop and manage project schedules, workflows, and project status reporting
  • Set priorities for tasks based on importance and urgency. Delegate tasks effectively.
  • Deliver project on time and within budget.

Required: Bachelor’s degree in project management, supply chain management, business, logistics, operations or related field. Minimum 4 years of experience in Project Management and 2-3 minimum years in Supply Chain Management or related field.

  • Fully self-sufficient; self-starter with an appropriate mix of confidence and experience to know what to do next without being directed.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a flexible, adaptable work environment.
  • Consistent, exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong collaboration skills.
  • Ability to build relationships and work effectively with associates at different levels across the organization.
  • High degree of personal and professional credibility, including responsiveness, business focus, integrity, sound judgment, and ability to prioritize effectively across competing demands.
  • Highly organized and strong attention to detail while keeping the strategic end goal in mind
  • Conduct analyses, which may include data gathering from across various systems and sources, data manipulation and modeling, as well as evaluating proposed solutions
  • Compile and analyze all supply chain metrics including service, quality, costs, lead times, and safety
  • Ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
  • Strong analytical capabilities and the ability to develop solutions to support company goals
  • Process-oriented with a sense of urgency and drive to manage projects to completion.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel


Knowledge of EDI and WMS processes is a plus.

Special Requirements/Certification:

Must be able to work hours that accommodate customers and staff in various time zones. Ability to travel domestically and internationally at minimum of 25%.
