Under general supervision, manage the overall growth of Kingston’s major retail accounts. Establish and maintain contact with management from major retail accounts to secure Kingston flash business and increase overall sales within an account. Develop strategies and establish partnerships with customers in the U.S. in order to build Kingston’s brand recognition and market share in the retail market. Conducts business reviews, makes recommendations to management, ensures correct pricing and perform other related work as required.

QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINES
Education/Training/Experience:
Required/Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in sales, marketing, communications or related field and/or equivalent education or experience. Three years sales experience preferably in the computer technology or consumer electronics field. Retail experience is a plus.
Knowledge: Knowledge sales principles and concepts, sales methods and practices. Intimate experience in the art of negotiation. Analytical methods to decipher intel and understanding of application of data.
Skills/Abilities: Highly motivated, Assertive, Strong Communication, written, interpersonal, organizational, time management and presentation skills. Responsively adapt to changing work priorities; Communicate effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal departments; multitasker.
Special Requirements/Certification: Domestic travel once or twice per month for two to four days at a time.
The ideal candidate will develop and implement strategies to effectively drive sales and revenue. The Retail Sales Account Manager must bring a hunter’s mentality to prospect new accounts and uncover new opportunities within customer base. The model candidate must be a strong self-starter, committed to their customer’s success, and ultimately the success of Kingston.
