Job Details - Compliance Administrator - Fountain Valley, CA

Department: Operational Compliance

Under general supervision the compliance administrator will be responsible for collecting, verifying, submitting and monitoring customer information. This position will monitor the progress of incident investigations and ensure relevant action items are addressed and documented. Responsible for communicating and training employees on industry compliance standards and regulations.

Primary functions

  • Conduct internal audits within the organization according to relevant management system standards, procedures and work instructions. Work with relevant departments to close preventative corrective actions and implement process improvements
  • Monitor and maintain existing information security management system and data protection programs such as GDPR, CCPA, etc.
  • Evaluate quality risks and implement appropriate actions to address them
  • Monitor and report key quality metrics related to processes performance and quality nonconformance to upper management
  • Collaborate with relevant process owners to monitor and report quality goals and objectives to upper management
  • Conduct risk assessments on supply management to ensure that agreements with third-party service providers and business partners address data protection regulations
  • Assess security incident severity, identify containment of the event and define root cause analysis
  • Review existing procedures and work instructions and work with various departments to review, update, and revise departmental procedures and work instructions to reflect current processes
  • Assist with other projects within the department as needed

Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Science, Cyber Security, or related field
  • 2 + years of experience of Information Security and personal data regulation
  • Strong knowledge of IT operations, incident management, change management, Access/Identity Management, security operations, vulnerability and compliance management, incident ticket life cycle and SLA (service level agreement) terms
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and presentation skills
  • Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups including executives, managers and subject matter experts
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask under competing deadlines
  • Experience working both independently and within a team-oriented collaborative environment
  • Experience with ISO or common audit methodologies
