Job Details - Inside Sales, LATAM - Fountain Valley, CA

Department: International Sales

Responsible for contacting customers to generate interest in company products. Understand customer needs and requirements to be able to give the best service possible. Expected to deliver a consistent and clear message of the Kingston products as a tool to increase customer interest level on the product. Primary job duty is to look for ways of increasing product/services sale to Kingston via phone/WhatsApp, email, etc.

*Must be bilingual in Portuguese and Spanish


Essential Functions:

  • Answer phones and outgoing phone calls, WhatsApp, Skype, Zoom base on customer’s needs.
  • Respond to internal and external emails in a timely manner. Will receive heavy traffic of emails from different country’s “South Cone”.
  • Approve orders in a timely manner in addition to making sure all orders have the correct information with pricing, address, shipping terms, and quotes in KCRM.
  • Send Forecast to BDM: This information is obtained thru our Resellers.
  • Provided weekly updates to Managers, BDM, BM and Inside sales or the status of deals with in KCRM.
  • Working with Account Manager and Sales Manager to determine essential strategic approaches for sales.
  • Outbound and inbound account management.
  • Supporting the reseller communication channel throughout the sales interval.
  • Handling cancellations or changes in sales order and communicating the changes with the related departments.
  • Emphasizing service or product features and benefits, discussing credit terms, quoting prices, and preparing sales order reports or forms.

Skills and Specifications

  • Able to quickly learn different systems such as: JDE, Cognos, ClickView. KTC zone: Databank, Part Allowance, KCRM, Price Adjustment, etc.
  • Build reports thru systems to engage with the customer and set future targets or give feedback.
  • Good presentation and communication skills with internal and external customers: production, business managers, inside sales, finance, etc.
  • Basic level computer skills including Ms Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Outlook.
  • Excellent telephone sales personality skills.
  • Excellent time management and organization skills.
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills.
  • Able to multi-task activities with shifting priorities.

Education and Qualifications

Required:
  • Preferably a Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Communications, Business or related field and/or equivalent education or sales experience.
  • Basic training in Inside sales.
  • Bilingual in Portuguese and Spanish

Knowledge: Sales and marketing principles, concepts, methods and practices; customers competitor’s terminology and products; customer service principles and techniques.

Special Requirements/Certification: Ability to travel (minimum 2-3 times a quarter).
