Job Details - Marketing Manager - Fountain Valley, CA
Department: U.S. Consumer Markets Group
Under general supervision, the Marketing Manager will aid in increasing Kingston’s brand awareness within new and existing domestic consumer accounts.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare marketing and advertising strategies.
  • Assist in implementation of marketing and advertising campaigns by assembling and analyzing sales forecasts; manage launch timetables.
  • Facilitate and organize promotional activities for all accounts and keep an ongoing and up-to-date marketing calendar.
  • Provide marketing campaign guidance for Google and Social Media.
  • Capture & request proof of placements.
  • Create, monitor, and optimize CPC based advertisements for accounts including Amazon, Walmart, and Best Buy.
  • Ensure excellent communication within all teams, departments and customers.
  • Execute enhanced content uploads and continued maintenance of customer detail pages.
  • Process, analyze, and update monthly reports, including budgets, profitability reports, and evaluating costs vs. benefits.
  • Collaborates with and supports Creative team, Web services, Pricing and Finance teams.
  • Required to travel as appropriate to customer meetings, tradeshows, and marketing events.



Required: Equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in marketing and communications, or related field. Two years of sales and marketing experience.

Desirable: Channel marketing experience. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Powerpoint, Amazon Advertising, and general CPC based advertising.

Knowledge: Computer industry corporate and alliance marketing, national marketing and channel distribution sales and marketing principles and practices; sales and educational incentives, brand campaigns and promotions; advertising, trade-shows, direct mail and electronic mail marketing and promotional techniques and practices; and customer service principles.

Skills/Abilities:Schedule, organize, and complete work in accordance with deadlines; complete tasks with thoroughness and accuracy; assist in creating and implementing marketing programs in accordance with corporate guidelines; communicate effectively with staff, management, other department representatives, vendors, contractors, clients and international business representatives.

Special Requirements/Certification: Occasional travel on company business is required.
