The Challenge

With over 2.4 million website visits per month plus visits from 270,000 forum members, Hardwareluxx were facing the challenge of having to split the workload across their web and MySQL servers which run separately on different hardware.

The Solution? Using Virtual Machines with Kingston SSDs

To increase the performance of their web applications, Hardwareluxx decided to replace their older array of eight HDDs with SSDs. Having previously purchased enterprise SSDs from Kingston, they looked at how the DC500M SSD could help accelerate the performance of their virtual machines (VMs), allowing their critical web applications to run faster.
