Catatan Konfigurasi Penting

  • Kingston's DDR3-1600 modules automatically clock down to 1333MHz, 1066MHz, and 800MHz depending on which Intel Xeon model is installed and how many module banks are populated. Please refer to the system manual for proper installation of DIMMs for Single, Dual, Triple, and Quad Channel configurations.
  • Due to chipset limitations, Kingston's DDR3 Quad Rank memory is limited to operate at a maximum of 1066Mhz. When two Quad Rank modules are installed per channel, the processor will automatically clock them down to 800MHz. Quad Rank modules are limited to 2 DIMMs Per Channel only. Third bank must remain empty. Maximum configuration is 512GB (16x32GB QR RDIMMs).
  • Mixing x4 and x8 modules is allowed, however not within the same bank.
  • Intel Xeon E5 Series processors support 1.5V DDR3 and 1.35V low-voltage DDR3L memory. If 1.5V and 1.35V DIMMs are mixed, all DIMMs run at 1.5V.
  • Kingston offers Unbuffered ECC UDIMM, Registered RDIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules. Modules of different memory types CANNOT be mixed within the same system.
