In 1987, Kingston began operations in the US. The headquarters for Kingston is located in Fountain Valley, Orange County, California, where we have sales, engineering, and manufacturing spread out over a campus of six buildings. In the US, we have over 700 employees, most who work at the main headquarters office. While some positions are full-time in the office, some positions are hybrid with opportunities to work in the office and at home. Our facilities have an on-site gym, free electric vehicle charging stations, and an employee garden.
In 1997, Kingston’s European headquarters was established in Sunbury-on-Thames in the UK. It consists of 3 buildings where we have Sales, Marketing, Technical Services, Finance, HR & IT. Each building has a warehouse where production staff pick, pack and ship orders. There are around 220 employees working in the UK. Most office positions are on a hybrid working model, splitting their time between home and office working. Our facilities offer an internet café, kitchen facilities, dart boards, table tennis, and free electric vehicle charging stations.
In 1997, Kingston’s Asia-Pacific headquarters was established in Hsinchu, Taiwan. Being the heart of global operations, we are home to some of Kingston’s major global functions such as R&D/Design Engineering, Worldwide Quality Assurance, Global Planning, and Information Integration. We also have Manufacturing, Sales, Marketing, Finance, IT, Legal, Compliance and HR on-site at the Asia-Pacific campus. We have approximately 2000 employees. While most positions are based in the office, employees may work from home when needed. Our facilities include a Health Center, cafeteria, on-site convenience store, staff dormitory, on-site gym, fitness room, basketball court, and free parking spaces.
