    Full time, hybrid - 38.5 hours per week (Mon-Thu 8am – 5pm, Fri 8am - 3pm) - Additional hours as required for event attendance and business travel.
  • Position Summary:

    To be responsible for the day-to-day planning, execution, and results of all PR activities across the BENDACH region (Benelux, Nordics, and DACH) through a direct outreach model, while also acting as the primary contact for PR agencies in other nominated EMEA countries.

    Provide strategic input and hands-on support to the PR Team Leader and agency partners to ensure Kingston Technology’s EMEA Public Relations function remains efficient, aligned, and highly effective in driving brand visibility and media engagement.


Essential Functions:
  • Manage day-to-day PR operations using a direct outreach model in BENODACH (Benelux, Nordics, DACH), while serving as the primary contact for PR agencies in other nominated EMEA countries.
  • Build and maintain relationships with journalists and media contacts across key EMEA markets.
  • Pitch product launches, reviews, and brand stories to media; ensure content delivery through deadline planning and follow-ups.
  • Coordinate and track PR KPIs, producing regular reports via Muckrack, Greenpulse, Salesforce, and internal dashboards.
  • Draft, review, and distribute press releases, outreach emails, and other media communications.
  • Manage spokesperson activities, including statements, interviews, and opinion pieces.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Business Development, Product Marketing, Planning, and Regional Teams) to align messaging and support local campaigns.
  • Partner with agencies to resolve review-related issues and support crisis communication if needed.
  • Support agency performance by ensuring regular reporting, updating dashboards, and logging awards or high-impact coverage.
  • Plan and manage press events and media activations in collaboration with the PR Team Leader, ensuring effective budget use.
  • Develop communication plans with clear strategic goals and budget alignment.
  • Report on paid PR campaign performance and return on investment (ROI).
  • Support social, digital, and web content creation with the EMEA Marketing team, sharing key wins internally and externally.
  • Undertake additional tasks to support the broader EMEA PR function as required.

Person Specification:

Education / Qualifications:
Minimum Criteria
  • Degree level educated (or equivalent).
  • Fully fluent in English and German (spoken and written)
Desirable
  • CIM/IDM trained or hold a Marketing qualification from a recognised college or university.
  • Any other European Language.

Experience / Knowledge:
Minimum Criteria
  • 2-3 years proven PR (or journalistic) experience gained either in an agency or in-house with experience of traditional and/or digital campaigns (offline and online).
Desirable
  • An understanding of technology and experience of working with B2B and/or B2C tech is highly desirable.

Skills / Behaviours:
  • Must be organised with excellent time management, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Candidate must be a team-worker, enthusiastic, pro-active, flexible, confident and hard working.
  • An attention to detail with excellent spoken and written English is essential.
  • Willingness to travel both within EMEA and globally if needed.
  • High degree of competence using standard PC productivity applications.
