Virtually any configuration up to 4GB can be reached using any combination of Kingston's 256, 512MB, and 1GB modules.

Due to standard PC architecture, a certain amount of memory is reserved for system usage and therefore the actual memory size is less than the stated amount. For example, 4GB of memory size will instead be shown as 3.xxGB memory during system startup.

MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS for Dual Channel mode. When installing four modules, it is recommended that they all be of the same size and type for Dual Channel mode. Kingston offers "K2" kit part numbers for Dual Channel mode.
