Only Intel Xeon x2xx Series and Intel Core i processors can use memory modules built with 16Gb density DRAM. BIOS/firmware updates and/or specific board revisions may also be required.
MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN PAIRS for Dual Channel mode.
Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed depending on processor model installed.

Depending on which processor you install, different memory modules are required. Intel Xeon series processors require ECC UDIMM. Intel Core i3, Pentium, and Celeron series processors can use either ECC or non-ECC UDIMM.
If 4GB is installed, the recognized memory may be reduced to 3.5GB or less (depending on system configuration and memory allocation). Maximum configurations require a 64-bit operating system.
