Notas importantes sobre la configuración

  • MODULES MUST BE ORDERED AND INSTALLED IN GROUPS OF FOUR for Quad Channel mode.
  • Maximum memory bandwidth is achieved by upgrading in groups of four per CPU. Utilizing the additional sockets for increased capacity, also known as split-channels, will reduce aggregated memory bandwidth (GB/s).
  • Kingston offers both Registered RDIMM and Load Reduced LRDIMM memory modules. Registered and Load Reduced modules CANNOT be mixed within the same system.
  • Mixing x4 and x8 modules is allowed, however not within the same bank.
  • DDR4-2400 modules are supported with high-end model Xeon E5 v4 processors. Mid and low end Xeon E5 v4 and Xeon E5 v3 processors will force DDR4-2400 modules to operate at 2133 or 1866, depending on processor model number and if DIMMs are installed in the second memory bank.
  • Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed depending on processor model and number of modules installed.
