Job Details - HyperX Business Manager Russia - Fountain Valley, CA

Under general supervision, the Business Manager is responsible for both product planning and core product marketing for HyperX peripheral products. This starts with working with suppliers to define and manage all aspects of product introduction including supplier specification, price negotiations and vendor forecasts. Responsibility will also include managing the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with Engineering to deliver winning products; working with Sales, Marketing and support staff to ensure revenue, margin and customer satisfaction goals are met, and ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company's overall strategy and goals.

Essential Functions:

  • Define the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Deliver PDs with prioritized features and corresponding justification.
  • Work with external third parties to assess partnerships and licensing opportunities.
  • Assess and understand the competition.
  • Develop the core positioning and messaging for the product.
  • Perform product demos and visits to customers.
  • Set pricing to meet revenue and profitability goals.
  • Deliver a quarterly revenue forecast and product quantity forecast.
  • Develop sales and marketing tools and collateral.
  • Assist in creating and implementing marketing programs in accordance with corporate guidelines.
  • Manage the core product messaging and positioning.
  • Propose an overall budget to ensure success.
  • Update and train the Inside and Field Sales teams at quarterly sales meetings.
  • Brief press and analysts and go on press tours as required.
  • Act as a product leader and escalation point within the company.
  • Work with internal business managers to define the product strategy and roadmap.
  • Coordinate all internal teams to ensure product category moves forward.


  • Bilingual English/Russian.
  • Eight years of sales and/or marketing experience; product management experience is desired.
  • At least 4 years of experience within the computer hardware business; computer gaming industry experience is preferred.
  • Knowledge of computer industry corporate and alliance marketing, national marketing and channel distribution sales and marketing principles and practices.
  • Experience with sales and educational incentives, brand campaigns and promotions; advertising, trade-shows, direct mail and electronic mail marketing and promotional techniques and practices.
  • Knowledge of product launch best practices and good grasp of technical specifications.
  • Must have strong customer-focused principles.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field.
  • Must be available for occasional international company business travel.


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Russian.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, other department representatives, vendors, contractors, clients and international business representatives.
  • Proficient in operating personal computer systems to utilize desktop publishing, graphics, and word processing, spreadsheet and presentation application software programs.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with ability to successfully manage multiple tasks/projects and follow through with all assignments.
  • Must be able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented work environment.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
