Job Details - Accounts Payable Specialist - Fountain Valley, CA
Department: Accounts Payable

Under general supervision, the Accounts Payable Specialist will process invoices, match documentation, schedule and prepare payments to vendors; monitor and process discount opportunities and credits. Process requests for employee travel and expense reimbursements performs other related work as required.


Essential Functions:

  • Process invoices (inventory, non-inventory)
  • Index Invoices and match them to Purchase Orders
  • Schedule and prepare payments to vendors
  • Process requests for employee travel and expense reimbursements
  • Reconcile vendor accounts
  • Work closely with internal customers
  • Perform other related work as required

Requirements:

  • Two to three years Accounts Payable experience; experience with a technology or consumer electronics company is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • Good verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with strong customer service orientation.
  • Excellent organizational skills to successfully manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Microsoft Excel, intermediate-level proficiency. JD Edwards experience is helpful.
  • Team-player, self-motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision
