Reg ECC RDIMMs:

Virtually any configuration up to 512GB can be reached using Kingston's 2, 4, 8 and 16GB modules and kits.
ECC UDIMMs:

Virtually any configuration up to 128GB can be reached using Kingston's 2, 4 and 8GB modules.
ECC LRDIMMs:

Virtually any configuration up to 512GB can be reached using any combination of Kingston's 2, 4, 8, 16 or 32GB modules.

Kingston offers "K4" kit part numbers for Quad Channel mode.
4GB Reg ECC modules come in two versions: 313/4G using x4 and 3138/4G using x8 DRAM. The two parts may be installed in the same system but not within the same memory bank. Use like modules within a memory bank.

This system supports either Unbuffered ECC, Registered ECC or Load Reduced memory. Mixing Unbuffered, Registered, or Load Reduced modules is not supported within this system.
Faster memory will clock down to run at optimal speed and voltage depending on processor model and number of modules installed.
